Audrey Harrer Aloha, my name is Audrey Harrer and I am originally from San Diego, California. I grew up with pools and the beach as my playground. At a very young age I became intrigued by the water and found a deep love for anything and everything associated with it. I played water polo in high school and had the honor of playing collegiate water polo at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Animal Science. After my college experience, I had a strong desire to give back to the community and specifically the keiki. I spent over 6 years working at The Oahu Club in Hawaii Kai. There I taught swim lessons, coached water polo and Kamehameha Swim Club. In 2011, I spent some time back in San Diego and continued teaching lessons and coaching for programs including: Noonan Family Swim School, Del Mar Water Polo Club and Olympic Development Program.

When I am not working I enjoy swimming, surfing and spending time with my 5 year old son Ezra. I found out about ISR while looking for swim programs for Ezra. After doing my own research and seeing the students master survival techniques, I knew that becoming an ISR Instructor was my calling. The ISR program is phenomenal with an outstanding science, academic and philosophy behind it. It is the only program that focuses on teaching survival swimming using the ISR Self-Rescue® technique. My goal is to provide an extra layer of protection against drowning to as many keiki as possible and help fulfill ISR's mission so that "Not One More Child Drowns."
